Overton Park is a very neat place in Memphis and I am so glad that I was able to hear about it. It has monuments to all the people from Memphis who served in the military during the twentieth century. Xander is standing by the Doughboy statue that honors the WWI veterans. It was very nice to take a moment and honor those who have fought for our country.
Another nice thing about Overton Park is that it allows dogs! There is a special place just for dogs called Overton Bark but on leash dogs are welcome almost everywhere.
Xander and I had a blast on the big playground. He got a little lost in the maze and I had to help him out though. Even with that incident he had a blast. We were able to go back on another day with Curtis and he loved it there too!
